Network Diagram 1, 2 & 3

For the whole year 3, i did not know about drawing a network diagram, it consists of so many different layers.

It have 3 different layers to sum up with

-Physical
-Data Link
-Network

Physical
It conprises of cable labelings and list of equipments. Mainly use to identify all hardwares and type of cables.

Data Link
Diagram which shows the VLAN specification and the linking of hardwares

Network
This typically shows how data will flow through the network with naming the IP address with the different network together. The process such as OSPF or RIP is not stated.

This is what my knowledge yet but will improvise in due date. Hope it helps you understand more of networking.

16th Month

It may seem time flies like no people business, but indeed we went through thick and thin for these past 16 months. I just want you to know that you have already been a part of me where separation is not an option. Happy 16th months darling. (=

A special song which i want to dedicate to you. Although it seems out of topic but hey, having a good mental health can do many things.

Always Look On The Bright Side -

Some things in life are bad
They can really make you mad
Other things just make you swear and curse.
When you're chewing on life's gristle
Don't grumble, give a whistle
And this'll help things turn out for the best...
And...always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the light side of life...

If life seems jolly rotten
There's something you've forgotten
And that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing.
When you're feeling in the dumps
Don't be silly chumps
Just purse your lips and whistle - that's the thing.

And...always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the light side of life...

For life is quite absurd
And death's the final word
You must always face the curtain with a bow.
Forget about your sin - give the audience a grin
Enjoy it - it's your last chance anyhow.

So always look on the bright side of death
Just before you draw your terminal breath

Life's a piece of shit
When you look at it
Life's a laugh and death's a joke, it's true.
You'll see it's all a showKeep 'em laughing as you go
Just remember that the last laugh is on you.

And always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the right side of life...
(Come on guys, cheer up!)
Always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the bright side of life...
(Worse things happen at sea, you know.)
Always look on the bright side of life...
(I mean - what have you got to lose?)
(You know, you come from nothing - you're going back to nothing.
What have you lost? Nothing!)
Always look on the right side of life...

How far can i go?

"What is your expectation for the three months here?"
"Uhh.. AMAP (As Much As Possible) =D"
"Hmm.. Alright then. :D"

I was given my first assignment of my IPP and it was not easy. -shiver-
However i am delighted that i am learning something new everyday for the this week.
The networking world seems so vast ever since i step into NCS Pte. Ltd. With so much to learn, i've beginning to feel that the three years in NYP seems so insignificant.

I am sure now with my comrade, Khalis. We will make out something from this three months. If possible, i will wish to stay on until my lovely country ask me to drill myself and become a man and to be able to protect her and also my precious ones.

It will be another fresh week starting soon and i am already excited about it. It doesn't seems that bad to work. It makes my gear moves!

I shall post some knowledge i gain while research for such a long time which i am passionate about. ^_^

More than words

Have you wondered sometimes when you quarreled with someone, they said something unrelated to the problem but the about the tone you used?

I came to understand, it means alot. By having irregular rhythm with low and high pitches and speed of talking, it all has different meanings.

  1. Anger
  2. Disbelief
  3. Boredom
  4. Sadness
  5. Affection
  6. Satisfaction

It would take a Degree period of time to truly explain what i am going to say. However, i think that to know the person's nature of speaking and to determine the message clearly is not easy but it will help alot.

Therefore, i hope this little guide will allow you to have better communication with others and misunderstandings will decrease. (:

P.S Things to note if you do not want to give the wrong information.

  • Your body language when speaking (Is it contradicting itself?)
  • Your rhythm of speech (To understand will let you know what kind of tone you are giving out)
  • Do not be monotone, it is difficult for the other party to analyze what is going on

How to improve standing board jump

After some napfa tests and trainings. I discovered one thing.

It doesn't matter if i'm slow or what just after so many sessions then i discoverd. Most important is that i share. :)

With you.

Let us take a look at the muscles.

Standing board jump (SBJ) requires you to bend your knees and with a swinging motion, you take flight.

Which muscles does it stresses on?

It stress most on Quadriceps, followed by the calves.

I discover that by bending my knees and feels which part being stretched.

Therefore in order for you to improve in SBJ, improve :

  1. Quadriceps
  2. Calves
  3. Jumping Motion (Tuck Jump)
