More than words

Have you wondered sometimes when you quarreled with someone, they said something unrelated to the problem but the about the tone you used?

I came to understand, it means alot. By having irregular rhythm with low and high pitches and speed of talking, it all has different meanings.

1. Anger
2. Disbelief
3. Boredom
4. Sadness
5. Affection
6. Satisfaction

It would take a Degree period of time to truly explain what i am going to say. However, i think that to know the person's nature of speaking and to determine the message clearly is not easy but it will help alot.

Therefore, i hope this little guide will allow you to have better communication with others and misunderstandings will decrease. (:

P.S Things to note if you do not want to give the wrong information.

• Your body language when speaking (Is it contradicting itself?)
• Your rhythm of speech (To understand will let you know what kind of tone you are giving out)
• Do not be monotone, it is difficult for the other party to analyze what is going on

Victory

The day before when I was having a ride on the bus, TVmobile was showing the Olympics volleyball matches. China VS Switzerland.

Although it seems like a typical match and on a rainy day, i almost teared.

It just happen when China got a point from the Swiss and that victory look upon their face. It was such a beautiful expression.

I was shocked about it. The droplets almost formed.
I do know why, i missed the feeling of victory.

The last time i felt it was ages ago.
I am just a useless bum where it just floats anywhere you go without achieving anything.
I want to change.
The Sight, Touch and Hear of Victory.
Let it ring days and nights in my ears. The sweet sweet melody of achievement.

Live your own

When you felt upset.
When you felt lonely.
When you felt useless.
When you felt hopeless.
When you felt devastated.

Who are the ones there for you every minute of the pain and the sufferings?
If there wasn't any, i beg you to move forward.
There would be no longer any point to keep holding onto them when they don't care.

Live fully for yourself. Not for the sake of someone else.
Compare only of yourself. Not to someone who is better than you.
Only to that point we can achieve what we call "Achievements".
Something which you surpasses yourself and you feel ultimately proud of it.

That's what I call life. Where things spice up within your own mighty hands.
Those can brings happiness but can also brings darkness.
Choose yourself.
Move on and find another flock and fly with them.

Quarrel

Each time things ended up with quarrels does not bring a good ending.

Other then in relationship which quarrel can be recovered to become better.

None really works.

Had experienced two quarrels in the last day two days and it really brings out the ugly mood to everyone even though it is over.

People brood over it and when your mood is down, bad things starts to appear like a stealth assasin waiting in the shadows for the chance to strike you down.

Love

There's once i thought upon this topic of what is love.

I assume,

Love is when you forgive that person even if she pissed you.
Love is when even if she let you wait for a very long time you would not get angry
Love is when she is down, you get her up.
Love is when, even in daydream, you thought of her.
Love is when even if she doesn't reply your sms, you wouldn't mind because you know she is busy.
Love is when she loves you and you loves her.

That is love, I assume.

Hardships

Human go through hardships for one purpose.

Strengthen ourselves and move on.

Do not allow any hardships to overwhelm you.

That's the most difficult to handle isn't it? It takes effort to make it.

The attitude. 80%

One of it will be the discipline of one self.

The discipline to work towards the game of life.

It's the only game we're playing.

The game where there is so much that you do not know where to start, unlike virtual games.

Discipline. Move on.

We Rule

There's this saying: 5% Luck, 15% Mechanism and 80% Attitude

When we always do things, Attitude are the most vital attribute we must have. It can either make the whole thing goes smoothly or it can turn it into an ugly scene even though you have the luck and the mechanism.

There's people says: This is all fate. Damn it.

I beg to differ. It all comes under our hand. Our life. One ruler. That's you and me.
You plan and you get. There's nothing called fate. It's is just an excuse.

Learn from mistakes. Let's move upwards. The place in Earth which is nearest to heaven.
Let us move together.

Alright, School Life is over.

I got to stand up to the "Game of Life" and fight for a place.

No more virtual life i will be in.

Distractions

There is many distractions in life.

Like my Dad, when he started to drive the cab again, LTA had decided to set more gantry's around CBD which greatly reduces customer. This is life and i think it will be a matter of mindset we see it.

Either we fight for the rights and the ways or we just stay behind the shadows and see the stars get brighter and the rich being richer.

Love is..

Love is weird.
Love is miraculous.
Love is temporary.
Love is everlasting.
Love is heart aching.
Love is blissful.
Love is..

We have went through all these months, without any good days actually. However we encourage one another and try to go through it with a smile.

However, it is easier to say than done. Always meeting but troubles. You cannot really smile it out even if you want to.

Everyone need a break during all this hurdles. I did not realize until yesterday.

I had break her heart. Telling her that she was irresponsible. I truly understand what she meant right now.

I did not feel good the whole day. Heart ache and always missing. How i wish i could just look at you and say i am sorry and just accompany you for a day.

Even though now and then i am the one who always told her off. Instead of blaming, we got a strange but strong mutual understanding which we always forgive each other just a few minutes after a quarrel.

We are always learning one another. Always trying to give the best to the another one. I now knew why we always need a wallpaper of our love ones. Because it work. It brightens your day.

Knowing that your not fighting alone. An Angel is always looking out for you and always knew. Appreciate you. I just want to tell you. I really love you this much! Thanks for being with me for so long! Enduring those pains and those precious tears that went down that lovely cheeks. I love you.

The Truth

Minutes by minutes, day by day, year by year, decade by decade and centuries by centuries.

Some things in life do not really change. Such as those vicious cycle that makes the rich more richer and poor gets poorer. However i realize that it is in this way because it balance.

The reason is because, the rich always knew what to do and the poor always neglected it even though they knew.

Let us take academics as an example.

Sometimes you should hear your friends or classmates talking about some project group right? Such as the nerds always sticks together and deserted those who are not so good.

I think i know why. It is because they want to make success while choosing the right person, their dreams will not be far. Of course, on the other hand, the not so good would struggle because now and then they would wait until the very last minute before they started to do assignments.

I would like to share with you guys, a quote from the famous motivator. Oprah Winfrey.

Do you remembers the days before you came into OGLs?

Nostalgic isn't it?

I do remember bits of it. When i first came to poly, i had intended to had a fresh start. A fresh start which means that no more nightmares for school days. It happened. Yes, it all began when i first participated in Camp Eagle.

It was an event with many memories, the joys of meeting new people and the sweat we made together. It was good isn't it?

Then we had endured through the FMO days with harsh treatments (With good intentions (somehow)).

Yes we did endured through it, in fact we endured all the events that came by us. A fascinating feat i would say for everyone who understands.

Then comes AGM, commissioning and then the whole new event by EXCOs(including myself).

We started to learn about many many things. Being a leader, a mentor. Responsibility suddenly surge into your blood like you're born with it.

So in order to be in expectations, we have begun to search high and low, for methods which could make our future batch a superior ones. In fact, in the midst of doing it, we did not care about ourselves but only to nurture and nurture and nurture.

Consequences starts to float onto the surface, the pillars starts to succumb instead. -Boom Boom Boom...-

Many thoughts are coming through our head right now (well at least i am), what did i done to deserve this things from happening, what happen to them, why can't we had a peaceful days.

I am puzzled. You may feel strange. In fact for those i'm one of them who kept on finding for the truth behind all those problems i have (pardon for my complacency) and now i think i had come back. Where? Right back from the start.

Now that i had dig so many places all over the place. I do not know which one is the true gold mine. Which is it? Where is it? Why can't i find it?

Suspicion, Silence, Depression and Hatred found inside for who i ever blame was? Myself.

*The more things you know, the more you actually don't know.

Little Puppy

Do you feel any hatred in your parents when they just yelled at you when you got home for doing something wrong or just commanded you to do things when you just got home?

I don't know about you, but i feel it.

I will give you a little bit more description.

Betty and Will are a lovely couple with kids at first, after a few strings of events, Betty feels that Will isn't that loving anymore, whenever he was back at home, he would just stare in the screen or just sleep without giving love and care to her and the kids, she felt frustrated.

A few months later, Betty just couldn't take it anymore and just spills everything out to Will when he got back home one day.

She told him that it's like everyday, Will just went to work and whenever he get in contact with foods, he would saves some leftovers in the plastic bag.

Betty and her kids would wait hungrily for Will to return so when he got home, he would gives the leftovers to them.

*The food refers to the love and concern.

Will totally understands what she said. However, Will just started to tell Betty why he does that.

Will refers himself as a puppy. As a puppy, it would always be love by everything besides it, like its parents or owner. However, one day, it got lost, it went through many obstacles.

Having almost being hit by a moving car, passing through thorns, being bullied by bigger dogs, finally, it reach its home.When it got right back in, the owner, instead of consoling it, the owner actually add salts to the wound and beat the hell out of it.

So right now, do you really know how Will's feel? I feel what he feels.

Emotions

When some scenarios came into your life and hit it with such a big impact, it will go deep into the emotional you, the inner self. The inner self would tend to compare this scenarios to the one currently its having and see what's wrong about it, whether it can be improve or not.

This certainly is a good thing, however when the inner self gets so obsess about trying to improve that particular scenario, it became a nuisance. It will turn out that the event was moving so smoothly but because of the obsession of the inner self, without knowing, destroying the event with knowing that they had too, the same event going.

That's the emotions. Either you control it and make it a guidance or you let it run wild and destroy the path and allow you to experience what someone had went through before you.

I would like to thank that person who had taught me this theory, well, it isn't anyone fault, it is the emotions which affects so much about you that unknowingly you do things more than what you had expected it.

Humans are sensitive, try to keep that sense from a distance. As the saying goes " There is a thin line..."

Crackdown

Heard stories between cracks within the family. I still don't really understands the situation yet so i will not say much about.

Heard some says it's about the trust. Rumors are killers really, it will kills anyone who gots involved in it, it spares no one! However, not siding both sides, both have wrongs.

The person who is being pin-pointed, should try building the trust. Yeah. First starts by committing yourself fully into the commitee. Your presence is very IMPORTANT if your not aware of it. It will be something like, "Oh, ******** not here again.. Sigh..". There is a effect even if you don't admit it!

The person who is being shroud by rumors and the person's action deepened into it, should give the person a chance! It's unfair if you sees it negatively even before you work with someone! Yeah!

Perspectives

"Do this do that do this do that.. think i superman?" grumbled workers

"Why they just can't do what they're told?" grumbled managers

This is the different perspectives that this two class of people sees.

Workers will see that managers are people who only how to talks and they're doing all the work. On the same time, the managers will see workers as people who is under them and should do what they are told to do.

Perspectives like this usually ended up in conflicts, rather misunderstanding the circumstances.

Well for me, i see things this way instead:

Workers shall love their jobs and upgrade themselves, if not they will always stay under that mouth who always calls to do work.

As for managers, they are the one who uses for brains than the workers. That doesn't mean that nothing is been done though. It is in black and white whereas the workers did it with obvious changes. Thats why sometimes, tough situation arises and causes conflicts because of different perspectives. xD

I shall not further on! lol.
